testing (not the one you do with a microphone)

It is very simple: if one plays with fire, one may eventually get burn; if one pushes buttons, one will hear music – or whatever.

MissAttitude is an expert on pushing buttons and playing with fire. She is constantly testing me, but it comes with the fact that she is a child and she trying to position herself. I understand that. It sometimes annoys the shit out of me, but I understand – is kind of her job to increase the outcome of gray hair in my head.

Adults that insist on testing don’t get to be so cute.

The mechanicals of testing in adults is pretty much the same that in children, but the motives may be different. Children may test to know how far they can get; adults may test to know how far you can get.

At this point in life… well, maybe these adults with their subliminal messages should know better.

Let me give you an example:

Lets say, I hate sugar in my coffee; lets say, you know I hate sugar in my coffee. So why would they stand up, get the sugar bowl, lean over holding a spoon of sugar hovering over my cup – shit! There is sugar in my coffee now… – and ask me if I want fucking sugar in my fucking coffee.

They know not only that I don’t like sugar in my coffee, but they know asking makes no sense whatsoever.

Because this is not only testing me, but is also testing them; see how far they can go, and how far I can go, and I think I have gone far enough since it is late and I am damn writing instead of doing something maybe more productive, like, watching CSI.

Because there is some testing that shouldn’t even be considered, never the less put on practice; because some testing is worst by the effect the testing itself can cause than the outcome of it; because we are adults  – and at this point we should know better.

I suggest those with their fancy subliminal messages to do an mental exercise and test themselves, and see how it feels. See how these idiots like sugar on their coffee – or whatever it is that ticks them off.

Nobody likes to have more-than-necessary gray hair – considering if is even necessary.

  1. I feel that way about coffee in general. I don’t get it. Why would I want to drink dirty brown water? I like sugar though. I might have already had a whole mess of it today. And caffeine. Is my keyboard vibrating?

  2. I wish there was some things we left behind as we grew up, but people demonstrates that my wishes have not been heard time after time. Well written. 🙂

  3. I guess it’s not really about the sugar, it’s about people doing things that annoy you when you’re not in the mood to put up with anything… I know what you talk about, I deal with other 270 midgets every week and they try to push my buttons and everybody else’s around.
